Computer Toys as a label gives a home to electronic music, which is not clearly defined by a certain genre, but rather by an idea: The idea of taking influences from the 90s and early 2000s into a modern environment and being quirky. It’s about proving courage to the extraordinary. Computer Toys is inspired by the scurrility of the early Internet aesthetics which from today’s perspective are characterized by roughness and flashiness. Therefore the visual identity is formed in-house as the label is defined not only by music but by the overall idea. Computer Toys was founded in 2021 by Producer and DJ Chris Gerber in Mannheim, Germany.
